One only has to see the flow of traffic in large cities in Europe to understand that bike lanes are NECESSARY!!
The issue with traffic is NOT bike lanes, but the other road construction (Gardiner, Eglinton etc). More downtowners will utilize the lanes if given accessibility and ease of use. This Ford plan is very shortsighted.
