As a 29 year old resident of Ontario, I'd like to comment that having bike lanes in my city (Toronto) is essential for me and others to get around the city for access to groceries, libraries, parks etc. I am concerned that this proposal will make it impossible for people who rely on biking to be able to get around the city.
I believe adding this piece of additional work for the provincial government is an inefficient use of tax dollars and adds to the growing amount of bureaucracy and administration that is bordering excessive in this country. Please let municipalities decide how to build their cities tailored to their own local needs.
