I live a few blocks from the Bloor/Danforth bike lanes, and do not support this bill. I think the introduction of bike lanes has improved the character of my neighbourhood. I watched my stretch of Danforth change from a noisy highway to a more pleasant "high street" with the introduction of the bike lanes and reconfiguration of the on-street parking. I also prefer driving on streets with bike lanes, because I find that the traffic flows more smoothly when drivers and cyclists each stay in their own lane.
