This proposal is utterly ridiculous! Urban bike lanes are not in the jurisdiction of the provincial government, as they are, and should remain, a municipal matter. In addition, this is a huge step backwards in every respect. Every modern and forward-thinking city in the world makes accommodation for alternative transportation. More cars is not the answer to the world's problems!
