Removing bike lanes will only increase injuries and deaths for bikers. Adding lanes to the proposed streets will not solve traffic, this has been proven several times. Traffic will remain an issue, but commuting will become exponentially more dangerous for cyclists. Removing bike lanes is an anti-communitarian act that will further divide the city and create hostility towards cyclists in the city.
