Why is the provincial government trying to overstep into city planning? It seems the local people in the municipality elected a city council and already employed expert city planners to decide how to best make the city for the people who live there.
This seems a blatant political move by the current premier to appeal to misguided portions of his base and he's meddling municipal affairs where he has no stake and definitely no expertise.
