This is an strikingly short-sighted and stupid direction to take.
Countless studies and reports demonstrate the benefits of supporting active modes of transportation in urban areas. Literal decades worth of research on this topic are somehow superceded by Doug's "common sense".
This is a political ploy, an obvious wedge issue, foisted upon us to distract from all the real problems in Ontario.
Don't do it.
