The people in local municipalities are in the best position to decide how to build bike lanes on municipal roads. The provincial government doesn’t need to be involved in decisions about whether bike lanes are appropriate. That’s what municipal governments are for.
Instead the provincial government should focus on completing Metrolinx projects including Line 5 and GO Expansion.
The provincial government should investigate undoing the disastrous decision of a previous PC government and repurchase the 407.
