This Act is not based in any reliable expert opinion or research. Getting rid of bike lanes will do nothing to reduce cyclists, it just makes them more unsafe. It’s a slap in the face to anyone who understands urban planning. All this does is add more cars to the road which further increases traffic! It’s completely non-sensical.
This is NOT the direction that Ontarians want. It is transparently pandering to a small uninformed demographic and intends to benefit Ford’s friends. It is a huge step backwards.
