As both a driver and a bicycle commuter, I find this proposed bill to be ridiculous. It tramples on municipalities' autonomy to find the best local transportation solutions, will not make cycling safer or car commutes faster, and is not based on any evidence or planning principles. Removing bike lanes will cost tens of millions of dollars while accomplishing nothing.
