This seem counterproductive and unfair. Instead of destroying a improvement to the city, the provincial government should invest on educating and stimulating people to use bikes as transportation. This would be a more economical and effective way to reduce traffic congestion as seen in European cities like Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Berlin.
