The 413 is anticipated to add 17 billion tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions and over a billion dollars in waste to Ontario. This is for a highway which no one has asked for. It's clear that the government knows it's in the wrong with the fast tracking of highways and land appropriations when it tries to hide it within equally bad legislation to increase traffic and congestion in Toronto by removing bike lanes.
