I am commenting on the proposal for an interim combined sewer to support development at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard (Ontario Place). This proposal is NOT acceptable. The job of the province and our collective citizenship is to serve the best interest of our province and our future. Dumping raw sewage into our public beach and waterway is NOT an acceptable path forward. No amount of sewage is ok. This is a waterway used by the public for sport, joy and pleasure and deserves to be treated with the respect and stewardship of a future minded leadership. It also flies in the face of international agreements to protect water quality and habitat in the Great Lakes. This effluent also risks human health in terms of water quality at beaches, fishing and the quality of the lake as an attraction for Canadian and international visitors. The province has also not held any consultations about this work with the general public.

As a citizen I say NO. Stop this action. This is NOT in the public interest. Please deny this permit.
