There are major problems with the proposal. There has been a deliberate strategy to limit public consultation: a) a limited 30 day period for comment which has been scheduled during the holiday period when people have other things on their minds; Lire davantage

Find another option that does not involve dumping sewage and ruining the lake for city of Toronto residents to use for water activities. Toronto taxpayers should not be made to lose more access to public Toronto resources due to the unwanted and extremely expensive Therme deal at Ontario place.

As a taxpayer, I would appreciate an explanation for how approval of interim combined sewer overflows at 955 Lakeshore in Toronto will benefit Ontarians. Lire davantage

The location of this overflow has never made any sense to me, nor does the Therme Spa. There is nothing environmentally friendly, or beneficial to Torontians who use this waterway (ie rowers, paddle boarders, kayakers). In fact it appears to me that it will further contaminate the water. Lire davantage

This is a horrifying use of our lake and public resources, all to subsidize the development of a private spa. Sewagw overflow into our public waterways is not reasonable. The Province should know better, Ford should know better.

I’m concerned that emptying sewage into Lake Ontario will cause pollution that makes it unsafe for our community. People bathe in the lake. Corporations should not be allowed to create environmental hazards that affect the quality of our lake water and our safety.

I am against this proposal as it will cause harmful pollution to water used by Ontario residents for recreational swimming and other water activities. This proposal is one more example of Doug Ford’s utter lack of concern for Ontarios people. Lire davantage

I cannot overstate how opposed I am to the idea of combined sewer overflows to be constructed at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard West. Are we really saying that it’s fine for our lakeshore residents and for those that use the west lake to be literally swimming in filth? Lire davantage
