To whom it may concern,
I am writing as a concerned resident of Dresden, located less than 1Km from the proposed project site. I strongly oppose this development for several critical reasons that directly impact our community’s health, safety, and environment.
1. Air Quality and Children's Health

The proposed operation poses serious concerns regarding air pollution. Emissions from industrial activities, dust, and potential particulate matter can degrade local air quality and pose long-term health risks—especially to children, whose lungs are still developing.
2. Proximity to Schools and Child Safety

The site's close proximity to local schools raises alarms about traffic safety and exposure to pollutants. Increased truck traffic near schools and residential areas significantly raises the risk of accidents and endangers our children during their daily commutes.
3. Traffic and Infrastructure Strain

Our local roads are not designed to handle industrial traffic volumes. The expected increase in heavy truck use will lead to congestion, faster road deterioration, and heightened danger for all road users.
4. Risk to Water and Environmental Contamination

Any contamination of local water sources, whether through runoff, accidental spills, or groundwater interference, could have devastating and irreversible consequences on both public health and local ecosystems.
5. Impact on Property Values

Projects of this nature tend to devalue nearby properties. As a resident who has invested in this community, I am deeply concerned about the economic implications for homeowners in the vicinity.
6. Threat to Local Wildlife and Species at Risk
The proposed development site may impact nearby habitats that support species at risk. Disturbing these ecosystems would be both environmentally irresponsible and potentially contrary to provincial conservation goals.
Bypassing the full environmental assessment would be a huge mistake and I fear this company is trying to find loopholes and being dishonest about their development because they know the risk it will pose to the community but unfortunately money is their main focus.
I urge the Ministry to reject this proposal in the interest of protecting our community’s health, environment, and future. A development of this scale and nature has no place so close to a populated, family-oriented area.
