I am absolutely astonished…

I am absolutely astonished the governement would be trying to force through a landfill without the bare minimum of an environmental study. We are a country who values our land and our wild life. To remove the need for an environmental study goes completely against all Canadian values and especially our commitment to caring for this land we live on. In addition to the devastation this can have on our local ecosystem, what effect will this have on our waterways and in turn on the farmland that litterally covers all areas of our community? Without an environmental study, the government is not only putting the jobs and income of thousands at risk but also our very health and lives.
