I strongly oppose this bill…

I strongly oppose this bill. It's important for the sustainable development of this province that strong environmental legislation like the Endangered Species Act remain in place. Growth cannot come a the expense of the air we breath, the water we drink, and the biodiversity of our home.
Sustainable development means meeting the needs of the present while ensuring that future generations can meet their needs. This bill would leave Ontario worse for future generations, not better.
I'm disappointed to see this kind of legislation, so similar to what is being done to environmental legislation in the United States, proposed here. It does not represent the values of Ontario, or the people who call Ontario home.
