Dear Premier Ford,

I am writing to express deep concern about Bill 5 and your government’s continued efforts to dismantle Ontario’s environmental safeguards.

Fast-tracking major infrastructure projects without proper environmental assessments or Indigenous consultation is irresponsible and dangerous.

Environmental and worker protections are not “red tape.” They’re critical for a healthy, resilient economy and a thriving democracy.

I urge you to reverse course on Bill 5. Protect Ontario’s environment. Respect Indigenous rights and community voices. And build responsibly, with the long-term well-being of this province in mind.
