This is the most despicable bill proposal I’ve seen in my lifetime. Archaeologists have been working for decades now to decolonize the practice and we are nowhere close. This is a huge step backwards from our goal. This bill would rob Indigenous communities of their right to their OWN heritage in order to advance the development of housing that nobody can even afford to buy.

I strongly recommend that this bill does not pass. There is no need for this action to take place.
