This legislation will have incredible knock-on effects. I work in Archaeology in Ontario. Every year I spend tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars at local businesses across this province. Without a vital and robust heritage act, this slate of fieldwork would shrivel, and those dollars would no longer be spent on truck rentals, hotel rentals, or at gas stations, convenience stores, restaurants, the list goes on.
