I strongly oppose Bill 5. It is undemocratic and has no regard for the Rule of Law and our Citizens Rights.
It disregards the Greenbelt; the Environment; Wildlife and their right to live and our Wetlands (which 70% have already been destroyed). We’re losing hundreds of acres of Farmland every day and should be conserving and ensuring our own food security)
No one Government; Cabinet or Premier should have such far reaching, dictatorial powers.
Endangered Species and Wildlife are NOT Red Tape and therefore, should not be cousin the Special Economic Zones. We should be building homes in already serviced and underutilized town areas. We need forward, creative thinking, not just building “Willy Nilly” anywhere a developer feels like.
