My husband and I and our two young sons live in Dresden, ON, our property backs onto the Sydenham River. This proposed dump and the foregoing of the environmental assessment of such a project would truly be life ruining for all of the people living in the community and all of our surrounding towns and cities. We cherish our home, our health, our children and all of our endangered species. It would be an absolute travesty to all of the farms that are nourished by this river, as well as all the endangered species that call this river their home could be wiped out over what? Profits before people? This is a disgusting abuse of power with no regard for the environment and no thought of future generations. This proposal morally and ethically should NOT be passed. The community has spoken, the families with loved ones here have spoken, and if this is passed, the environment will speak. WE SAY NO DUMP IN DRESDEN!!!!
