I strongly do not support this amendment. It is a distinct step backwards, in a market-favoring decision which will not benefit Ontarian citizens or our environment - more precisely, it will directly harm people just to appease corporate profits. This is a brazen bending of the spine to allow large corporations to avoid their social and environmental responsibilities. The leash needs to be tightened, not loosened.

As a lifelong Ontarian, I am disheartened and disappointed with the direction of some new provincial policies like this one. Be better. Be stronger, have more integrity, and do what is right. This amendment is not.
