I am writing to express my support for this MZO request. Central Hamilton is desperately in need of more affordable, mixed occupancy accommodation.

Furthermore, it would be good to see (by whatever mechanism available) the developer pushed to achieve the top range of the estimate of 210 affordable units being built.

Either way, this land currently sitting derelict when there have been homeless encampments opposite this block is a damning indictment of the political classes inability to provide affordable accessible housing options for the City of Hamilton.
