This site represents both a desperately needed affordable housing opportunity and a key step forward in the development of Hamilton's downtown. The lack of progress in the redevelopment of these lands has created a wedge in the city that has driven community apart in a location that could provide a building block to a safer, cleaner, brighter Hamilton for all. I fully support this proposal.
