I fully support the proposed development at 405 James Street North under Minister’s Zoning Order 025-0807. This plan makes excellent use of an idle and partially demolished property, and transforms it into a vibrant residential area with much-needed housing.

The mix of stacked townhomes, affordable units, and market-rate apartments will help meet diverse housing needs in Hamilton. I especially appreciate the inclusion of affordable housing and the commitment to environmental remediation of the site.

This is a thoughtful, forward-looking proposal that balances quality construction, community needs, and economic vitality. I strongly encourage the Ministry to approve it and help move Hamilton forward.
