The Jamesville project has been an absolute disgrace to see. As someone who lived blocks away from the area for several years, I am disappointed in the delays that have happened. It’s invited vandalism and anti-social behaviour into a neighbourhood that is already underfunded. There are hundreds of existing houses in that neighbourhood already and they manage with the noise caused by Metrolinx. It makes absolutely no sense why a new complex would be any different.

To think we are facing a time when farmland and wetlands are being proposed for bulldozing to build new housing development when we have a prime piece of property that could house dozens of people, it’s asinine and a failure of government.

Please, for the good of North End Hamilton, make the right choice to begin reconstruction on the jamesville site.
