As someone who frequents both James St N and Bayfront, Jamesville is something I see almost daily. It’s a shame that an area with so much potential is not being used for the good of the community. What could and should be affordable housing for the homeless that the city refuses to acknowledge in any promising way is instead a stain in the community and a constant reminder of the city’s negligence towards its residents. I think a great number of people agree with me that Jamesville needs to be invested into to help combat the rampant housing crisis. There’s so much potential there and the city needs to step up and give back to community in this way.
