I am very pleased to see rock climbing being added as a permitted recreational use of Devil's Glen Provincial Park! Devil's Glen provincial park is a magical place to hike and climb, and I have enjoyed many days out at the park with friends climbing. Because Devil's Glen is so magical, conservation of the park is also important. With rock climbing recognized as a permitted recreation use of the park, the park can likely better manage the balance between rock climbing and conservation, since park staff will be aware of rock climbing activities going on within the park. Rock climbing in the park helps many people connect with the nature in the park, and I am happy to see climbing recognized as one of the many ways to recreate at Devil's Glen.
