Rock climbing is a hobby enjoyed by many. It is a great way to get exercise outdoors and brings people together as a social activity. With its inclusion in the Olympics and the growth of the sport more people are climbing indoors and looking to climb outdoors. Rather than banning an activity that thousands enjoy it is better to work with the community to establish reasonable guidelines that benefit the rock climbing community as well as the other communities that share these resources.
