I am strongly opposed to the weakening of our laws to protect vulnerable wildlife.

Please withdraw the Species Conservation Act and restore the Endangered Species Act.

All “ Special Concern” species must be reassigned back to the protected list and you must maintain provincial oversight for aquatic and migratory bird species.

We need to preserve full public transparency and review under the Environmental Bill of Rights.

Strong, enforceable standards for habitat protection and recovery planning must be mandated.

Proper enforcement must be funded too so protection is actually enforced in real life, not just in theory and in words.
