You need to withdraw the species conservation act and reinstate the endangered species act. Also reassign all special concern species to the protected list. It’s only the intelligent thing to do to protect species before they’re endangered.

You also need to maintain provincial oversight for aquatic and migratory bird species.

Also we need to keep full public transparency and review under the Environmental bill of rights. The public has a right to know what is happening.

You must mandate strong enforceable standards for habitat protection and recovery planning.

We also need to fund real enforcement so that promises on paper translate into protection on the ground.

Developers and corporations cannot be trusted to do the right thing. The health of our ecosystems and the life in them is vital to our future. Our future isn’t worth sacrificing for a quick buck!

We need to listen to scientists and indigenous knowledge to protect nature and our future. It is all intertwined.
