These legislation changes are SHOCKING!!!! Ceasing to recognize more than 106 different species at risk is beyond comprehension in today's world. Yes, it's the conservative approach to place $$$ over the environment that we all depend on ... yes, as Jane Goodall understood and wisely described in her tapestry analogy of the interconnectedness of life, each species is a vital thread: "The removal of any species, whether large or small, weakens this living tapestry, and if too many threads are pulled, the entire ecosystem can unravel and collapse". The natural world is fragile and interdependent and Bill 5 and the proposed Species Conservation Act 2025 is accelerating the loss of biodiversity, which is essential for the health of the planet. Stop this insanity!!!
