I am appalled by the government's decision to weaken environmental protections and to eliminate protections for endangered species here in the province of Ontario. Economic growth need not come at the expense of nature. We need to urgently be expanding our environmental protection laws, not weakening them. Shame on the Ford Progressive Conservative government for advancing such destructive legislative changes.
