I see this legislation as just another step in the environmental destruction promoted by the current government . Allowing developers to obtain a simple permit to destroy or displace formerly protected species of plants and animals is a black mark on Ontario and another step in the process of paving over and clear-cutting a once beautiful province. All in the service of some future monetary reward. This bill is a tragedy in the making. Shame!
