I am not at all in favour of this proposal for a hunting season for double-crested cormorants in Ontario, especially during the summer months. That is the time of year when we like to enjoy the beauty & quiet of our lakes & forests. The sounds of hunters firing at birds would be most stressful.

I would also have fears for human safety, as hunting accidents are known to happen.

Please reconsider this ill-advised proposal! Thanks.
