I do not agree with the proposed changes. No work that adversely impacts species at risk should be permissible within their habitat. Registering an activity or receiving a permit for an activity doesn’t make the impacts disappear. We should not be putting higher priorities on development over the environment. Start with using the vacant buildings in our cities and promoting efficient public transportation instead of allowing more urban sprawl and more highways. And stop sending municipalities back to the office. Fewer cars on the road everyday lessens the burden on current infrastructure.

Ontario needs to get better at using what it already has.
