I am 100% against amalgamation of local conservation authorities into large regional ones. Local people know what is best for our conversation areas. I noticed that in the proposal there are multiple conservation authorities for the GTA, and barely any for the rest of Ontario. Once again Ontario is ignored outside of the GTA in this proposal.
NO TO AMALGAMATED CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES. KEEP CONSERVATION AUTHORITIES LOCAL.
