I understand that the proposed changes consolidate the conservation authroities.

By definition this will lead to conservation authorities doing a worse job. Environmental conservation requires deep local knowledge, and that can be done better when the areas conservation authorities are responsible for are smaller, not larger.

So I invite you to create more of these authorities, not to consolidate.

I bitterly oppose any further reduction of our local and provincial government's agencies ability to preserve our common shared goods. ESPECIALLY our shared, loved, requisite, natural environment.
