I live in Elgin County. I am very concerned about the proposed amalgamation of conservation authorities. I have seen first hand how the amalgamation of our local school boards was to the “community voice”. I feel the needs, concerns, and goals of our rural community will be lost with such a large authority just as has happened with our schools. Please reconsider this amalgamation and allow our local conservation authorities to continue to provide the amazing resources they provided for our community.
