The consideration for the consolidation of the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority with ones from Southern Ontario is the only “proof you need that this is a terrible idea. There is such a disconnect from people in the big cities and it is on full display by yet another idea filled with ignorance of our unique landscapes up here in Northwestern Ontario. We do not live a few kilometres from North Bay as some politicians and residents believe. Everything is different but this mentality still remains. That is what should be studied.
