This proposal is not in the best interest of protecting and managing our beloved Canadian wilderness, urban and rural lands as it is stripping away the knowledge of the lands and removing years of scientifically research of the land. These lands cannot be grouped into mass areas, each of the 36 areas are unique and the land act differently in each area, they cannot be grouped together and be called the same. There are better ways and more environmentally ethical ways to streamline the authority system and improve land development processes. As a concerned Ontario citizen, I am not for this proposal.
