I strongly disagree with and oppose the proposal to reduce the number of conservation authorities in Ontario. These conservation authorities are vital to ensuring individual communities needs are met and ensuring they are protected. A consolidated group of politicians would NOT accomplish the same goals, nor would they have the best interests of the communities and environment in mind. We do not want to be negatively impacted by the threats of climate change, especially in big cities such as Toronto, which would likely be the result if this bill were to go through.
