The Conservative Government brought in the original Conservation authorities.
To have such Large areas does not make workable sense when the funding will come from municipalities without any power or say. NO say - as the board (proposed 30) will be appointed by the Provincial Government with NO way for the public to (municipalities) to have any input.
This new plan appears to be not well thought out and puts the onus ($$$) on municipal taxpayers.
I cannot see the benefits of the plan - other than to the Provincial Government.
