I strongly disagree with reducing the number of conservation authorities to seven. Scientifically , there are far more environmental and geographic conservation zones in Ontario than that.
Your own website says “conservation authorities develop and deliver local, watershed-based resource management programs on behalf of the province and municipalities”. Seven authorities will make it more difficult to do this, and drastically reduce the quality and quantity of these programs.
