This is not going to be beneficial for the municipalities that these conservation authorities oversee. We don’t need a buddy of our premier in charge just so things can get pushed through from afar. These conservation authorities are on the ground looking over what’s best in area not working remote and in someone’s pocket. That’s my fear that is in motion already. We know from the VW experience as rural landowners that this is probably already a done deal and this is a mear formality letting the public have a say. Disappointing.
