I think this is a ridiculous…

I think this is a ridiculous proposal.

I fear selling off The Green Belt and other fragile ecosystems.

I also fear conservations will not have as great an impact on their local communities as consolidation often leads to layoffs. If the conservations are consolidated into seven overly large areas, how can you guarantee staff in local areas/smaller communities will meet with landowners, design projects, secure funding, prepare sites, provide technical support, etc? People will be spread too thin to provide the care and attention conservations need.

I fear conservations will close rather than expand during this consolidation.
