I am extremely happy with the Hamilton Conservation Authority.
HCA does not need to be managed by another level of government.
I feel that those of us in Hamilton will be short changed by the proposed merger.
I saw it happen when Stoney Creek was merged with the "city" of Hamilton.
I also fear that our conservation values will be bulldozed over as they were with the changes to the Endangered species act and the Greenbelt plan changes.
