Hello,

I do not agree with the amalgamation of the conservation authorities. I would much rather see better guidelines provided for authorities to improve consistency.

I would also rather see the Government of Ontario provide more financial support to the Conservation Authorities that are struggling to meet expected delivery timelines instead of tearing the whole thing down.

We've already seen how amalgamated services had a negative impact on municipalities and creates have and have-nots. Amalgamation is also less democratic and decreases the power municipalities and their citizens have on developments that impact them directly.

Please do not pass this legislation.
