Let's call this proposed …

Let's call this proposed "consolidation" what it really is: a land grab by the province to pave over valuable natural environments. These areas are a vital defence against the ravages of climate change. Removing local autonomy and expertise for the protection of these areas is, for many, many voters, just the Greenbelt scandal by another name. Stop this degradation of our conservation authorities now, or face voters' wrath at the next provincial election.
